Ko Phi Phi
Ko Phi Phi is made up of 6 islands, Ko Phi Phi Don, Ko Phi Phi Ley, Ko Bida Nok, Ko Bida Nai, Ko Mai Pai (Bamboo Island) and Ko Yung (Mosquito Island).
Because of the time involved to travel to all these islands our day trips focus on Ko Phi Phi Don and Ko Phi Phi Ley.
Ko Phi Phi Ley is a large limestone island offering some of the best and most dramatic scenery in the area. Great snorkeling with diverse marine life is all around the island. There are beautiful bays to enjoy with the most famous one being Maya Bay which is where some filming for the movie ‘The Beach‘ took place.
Ko Phi Phi Don is the only one of the six islands which offers accommodation, and lots of it! There is something for every budget in the main town of Ton Sai with high end secluded resorts on the northern beaches. Phi Phi Don offers more snorkelling and more stunning beaches with a stop usually made at Monkey Beach.
All of the Phi Phi islands offer superb snorkelling and amazing scenery and are some of the most famous islands in this area. For this reason they are visited by a large numbers of tourists each day so be prepared to share these lovely places!
