Want to experience some great snorkeling in the Andaman Sea?

Then you want to join a Freedom Adventures boat trip! And for the most relaxing experience come on our overnight camping adventure this Sunday!
Over 2 whole days and 1 night we will take you to experience the beauty of Ko Mook, Ko Ngai, Ko Maa and Ko Kradan where we will stay the night. There is plenty of great snorkeling for you to enjoy, on Ko Kradan you can snorkel right off the beach in front of our camp. We have kayaks for you to use so you can go off to find your own private beach or try some squid fishing, a short trek through the jungle to view sunset from a deserted beach and be greeted by a wonderful sunrise the next morning.
For those not so keen on a tent for the night bungalow accommodation is also available.
We will cater all meals for you including a yummy BBQ dinner and all water sport and camping equipment is provided by us too.
A truly relaxing and fun way to see all that the amazing islands have to offer and do it all under the care of Ned, your guide and friend.

Our camping adventures are offered every Sunday through the low season so if this is too last minute fo you send us an email and get booked up for the next one!

‘Green Season’ Boat Trip Schedule

We are very happy to be offering day boat trips and also our camping trips all year round from now!
Our Green Season here on Ko Lanta is a beautiful and peaceful time with sunny hot days and of course some rain to keep our island beautiful and green!
We will be running our trips as follows:

Emerald Cave & Southern Islands day trip every Wednesday and Saturday.
Kayaking & Eastern Islands every Tuesday and Thursday (new tour for Green Season)
Ko Kradan camping trip 2day/1night every Sunday returning Monday.

We keep a close check on the weather forecast as some destinations are weather dependent. However, we have introduced new trips around the islands off the East coast of ko Lanta and this area is well protected from the monsoon winds. If we were unable to run a trip as far as Ko Kradan or Ko Mook we can tailor make a tour for day trips and also for camping on the quiet east coast islands.

Emerald Cave & Ko Ngai snorkel trip on 1st April 2012

The Emerald Cave is a must see when in this area. It is a truely unique experience swimming through a cave by torchlight and arriving in to a ‘secret lagoon’ surrounded by 100mtr high cliffs of pristine jungle.
We do our best to take you there outside of the peak time as much as the tide allows us.
In addition to this stop we will enjoy the beaches and coral reef of Ko Ngai, a beautiful island with ahandfull of resorts just south of Ko Lanta.
We will also visit limestone karst Ko Maa where you can enjoy nice snorkeling, often we see small reef sharks here. Watch and listen to bats hanging up high and enjoy the limestone formations by kayaking around the karst (something possible only with Freedom Adventures)!
A delicious Thai lunch will be freshly prepared onboard the boat for you and drinks and fruit are provided throughout the day. We have mask,snorkel,fins and life jackets for all our guests and we will provide car transfers for you form your resort to our boat.

Ko Haa snorkeling day trip on 31st March 2012

Ko Haa means 5 Islands and the islands are numbered 1 through 5 and range from limestone karsts to larger islands with rolling grassland. There is no development here just a wonderful underwater world!

Ko Haa is more famous as a scuba diving destination but there are also fantastic snorkeling opportunities. With consistent clear waters and diverse marine life snorkeling here is wonderful. There is a whole lagoon of coral and fish to enjoy at an average depth of just 5metres.
On island 3 there is a beach which you can swim to at low tide. A delicious Thai lunch will be cooked and served on the boat for you and drinks and fruit and also provided.
